Providing top flight care to equine animals in SE MN.
Top Flight Veterinary Service LLC is an ambulatory practice serving the SE Minnesota area with our focus on the counties along Hwy 14 from Rochester to Owatonna and along Interstate 35 from Owatonna to Albert Lea.
We often get the question about why our veterinary practice is named Top Flight Veterinary Service LLC. We strive to practice the best quality medicine possible in order to have your equine companion perform at their best in and out of the arena. We want your equine partner to help you fly!

Being ambulatory means that we come to the place where your equine is kept to provide medical care. There is no need to hassle with a trailer ride into a clinic.
​
While we can provide most care on the farm, if your equine needs to be hospitalized for whatever reason, we will work with surrounding hospitals to provide the best care for you.

ALLISON JANZ DVM CVSMT
Veterinarian
Dr. Janz graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Her first job out of vet school was with Dodge Veterinary Clinic where she learned from Dr. Dale Perau. After being there for a couple years, she moved to central Missouri with her husband, Derek, to run a large animal veterinary practice. Her focus was on performance horses and cow/calf production. After a twist of fate, she found herself working in Texas at cutting horse breeding and training operation. But nowhere was like being in SE MN. She is happy to be back to serve the friends and families in the area.

She is a member of the AAEP, AVMA, and ISLEP. She enjoys working up lameness and poor performance in various equine disciplines. In 2015, she completed her certification in veterinary spinal manipulation (animal chiropractic) from the Healing Oasis Wellness Center. She enjoys practicing VSMT as a compliment to traditional Western veterinary medicine to help the whole-body health and wellness of our equine companions.

When she is not working, she can be found riding her 22 year old horse, hanging out with Derek and her dogs, or reading a good book.
DEREK BOCK
Business Manager
Derek has a degree in Accounting, Business, and Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. His experience in the banking, manufacturing, ranching, and veterinary industries allow him to give Dr. Janz the help she needs to run Top Flight Veterinary Service LLC safely and effectively.

When he is not working he enjoys riding his Appaloosa, playing chess, and spending time with his wife, Allison, and their daughter, Samantha.
